This elegant and cozy apartment has a large and comfortable living and dining room with access to the beautiful terrace. Located close to Termini station, the flat has all the amenities and is very charming.

Location

Piazza Vittorio is known as the biggest arcaded square built after the unification of Italy, nowadays the area is known as the multicultural area of Rome. Shops and a lot of restaurants make strolling to view the sights and exploring a delight. On the piazza is an agreeable garden that is in the typical “umbertino” style of Rome, with some Roman ruins, a “Magic Door” and towering, ancient trees. The surrounding building has lovely arches, made by 280 columns, and interesting flooring that adheres to an umbertine style.

Exterior

The building has retained a clean and simple aspect that is reminiscent of the umbertino period when it was built. Renovated recently, the building acquired its present appearance in the mid 1900s.

Interior

The apartment has a large living room overlooking the quiet street. Enter through a spacious entrance and you will find the interesting original floor with fine, antique bordered tiles. Most of the apartment has this beautiful flooring. On your left side there is comfortable seating for all in the large living room, comprised of two sofas (one is a sofa bed) and a pouf. Two large windows face the street and the neighbour’s courtyard. Enjoy this space with a big floor-to-ceiling bookcase and sophisticated lighting.
There is a flat-screen television with satellite reception for a few English-language channels. The dining room is opposite the living room, there is a nice wooden table with chairs for all of the occupants of the house. From this space you can easily access the terrace from the large French door. The terrace is really enjoyable, full of green plants which give it a garden feel. It has a useful wood canopy that gives you protection from the rare rain and also more privacy to the space. In this space you will find sun chairs, beach chairs and a large table for 8/10 people, so if you have friends in town you can invite them to enjoy this area. The kitchen is small but with a window that makes this a pleasant room. It has a worktop that is a good prep area; there is a 4-burner gas stove, oven, fridge/freezer, crockery, dishwasher, toaster and kettle.

The master bedroom has two windows overlooking the neighbour’s garden and the terrace. It is accessed from the corridor close to the dining room. It has one king-sized bed, an armchair and a wardrobe which is an antique travel trunk from the end of the 1800s. The second bedroom is accessed from the entry room and it also faces the neighbour’s garden. This space has a king-sized bed too, which can be split to form two singles. The wardrobe has three big sliding doors. The bathroom has a crystal box shower with two options – you can either use the hand-held shower head or turn on the fixed rain one for hands-free showering. There is a small storage space for the washer/dryer just outside the dining room.
