ArtistI House with Balconies – Piazza del Popolo

A bright and fully equipped, modern apartment right in the heart of the most popular neighborhood in Rome. The Artisti House apartment is located in Via Cesare Beccaria in Rome`s desirable Flaminio area, a neighborhood known for its charm, elegance and proximity to the main sites. In this area there is an array of boutique hotels, some of Rome`s most elegant and expensive. Artisti House is great value in comparison.

Location

The location is in central Rome, in a peaceful and prosperous neighborhood two minutes from the spectacular and bustling Piazza Del Popolo, where you can explore the fountains, churches, a great Caravaggio painting and cushy cafes. Just before Piazza del Popolo is Piazzale Flaminio, a transportation hub with a metro station, buses and the hop-on-hop-off double-decker sightseeing bus. Walking in another direction, you are one block from the Tiber River to the West and four minutes from the Villa Borghese Park to the East, where you can enjoy the most beautiful viewpoint of Rome or get some exercise. If you wish to stroll, seven minutes puts you in Piazza di Spagna, where you will find the Spanish Steps and the designer shopping mecca of Rome. The Pantheon is about a fifteen minute brisk walk away, although you’ll want to take it easy, stopping to admire the architecture or peer into shop windows, perhaps sampling a gelato or having a coffee at a stylish café. Piazza Navona is about five minutes further on, surrounded by a fascinating maze of old streets, and from there you can cross the river to experience the ambience of the many bars and restaurants in the Trastevere neighbourhood. Alternatively, from Piazzale Flaminio it is just two metro stops to the Vatican City, with St Paul’s Cathedral and the many stunning museums. Back at the apartment there is a range of cafes and restaurants two blocks away (perfect for breakfast) as well as shops and a Carrefour supermarket for when you want to stock up a little.

Interior

The apartment is tastefully designed and well laid out; from the entrance you have the living room on your left and through a door on the right is the kitchen. Proceeding down the hall you have the three bedrooms and ahead of you, the spacious bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink, large shower and separate bathtub. The sunny living/dining room has full-length windows that fill the room with light and give access to the balcony. The Italian-chic modern green sofa converts to a comfortable queen size bed and the glass-topped dining table can seat 6.
The kitchen is a model of precise planning and quality finishes, a clever use of the space with all the appliances. Next to the kitchen is an extra small bathroom with sink. Two of the bedrooms have independent A/C units and French doors / windows that open out onto a private balcony. The bedrooms also all have large queen sized beds (63×79″, 160x200cm), another rarity in Italian vacation rental properties. In total there are 4 balconies in the apartment, 3 of them overlooking the interior courtyard garden of the building and therefore offering a sense of tranquillity not always possible with street-facing rooms. Sleek, clean lines and all the amenities make this not just a comfortable apartment, but a place where you can really relax at the end of a long day’s sightseeing. For larger groups we suggest renting the … apartment in conjunction with the Artisti house apartment as they are both located in the same building.
